I’m tired of having one computer
that I carry everywhere with me. Well, okay, two. But it seems so primitive having all my stuff locked in a box. I realise the platform is there to have hardware lying all over the place, and my consumable content clouding around. So I can stumble in to whatever I’m doing wherever I am, but I think I lack the cultural imperative to make it okay. People would think I was just big-noting. But would 4 or 5 modern devices be too many? Desktop, big laptop, notebook, netbook, iPhone. One of everything? Is that really excessive, is that really too much snout in the trough of technological largesse? At what point do I cross the line and become an Emelda Marcos?
